Yoga Therapy Specialty Certificate Programs for Continuing Education
Specialty Certificate Programs are designed for those students who would like more in-depth training in a specialty area. Each Specialty Certificate Program has a set of requirements in a combination of online classes and in-person practical application in the Case Studies class. The cost of each Specialty Program is based on the number of hours of the program.
All SCHYS programs train our teachers to be Trauma Informed, have training in Western/allopathic anatomy and medical terminology, and to use All-Inclusive Language. We are proud to offer ten Specialty Certificate Programs that are eligible for Approved Professional Development for Continuing Education credit hours with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). We also offer a Chair Yoga Teacher Training, and a Prenatal Yoga Certificate training program for those with a 200-Hour RYT. Please note there is both a Chair Yoga Teacher Training (for 200-RYT), and a Chair Yoga Skills for Yoga Therapists (for C-IAYTs).
